I'm gone to Paris for a few days...

I'll report back on shopping, food and French fabulousness!

10 minutes at Zara are enough to...

...try 5 different outfits, violate several new year resolutions and get totally excited for the new spring looks.
Today, I had to run some errands and took a few minutes in between to "look around" at Zara. Well as you can imagine, it turned out to be a little more than just having a quick look, as a new bunch of spring clothes had just arrived...
Voila, some of the pieces, which I particullary liked:

these lace-up, peep-toes

these boots a la Isabel Marant SS09

this cozy scarf with different pink shades

well and this military style Tunic, which goes perfectly with the scarf and which I ended up's always the same story...

Should we skip summer...?

The pre-fall looks, which belong to the designers' more accessible and wearable in-between collections, are all around. Some of them are so pretty, I would wanna wear them right now!
One of the most covered ones and also one of my favourites is the pre-fall collection by Balenciaga, which is said to be already a good indication for the actual fall collection (can't wait to see it!). I just love the slouchy trousers and fur elements!

Voila, two other collections, which I really like and would immediately wear:
A. Wang is more about the cool and sleek gal...

...whereas Chloe is girly, charming and romantic as always!

Wanna play dress-up...?

...then just take a look at Luella spring girls for some funny, cute ideas:

mix up bright colours and flower prints, go for bows, brooches, nets in the hair, lots of pearl necklaces, little gloves...just overload!!!

Is it ever too early for Chanel?

Some time ago, this picture caused controversial discussions on some blogs, and yes well I agree with concerns about spoiling your kid too early. STILL, this is the most adorable picture ever...!

my take on harem pants

I have been searching them for a long time: the ├╝ber-cool, drop-crotch pants a la Emanuelle Alt. They have been seen in many different versions on spring runways and begun hitting high street stores like Zara & Co. Now I finally found my perfect pair! They're from Isabel Marant Etoile and I bougth them at my favourite store here in Maastricht!

I think they look great with a pair of heels and a slim blazer for the evening, and just a tank and flats for daytime!

a girl named Chloe

Lately, Garance Dore has been posting these stunning pictures of her friend Chloe. This girl is a real natural beauty and wears the most expensives clothes in such a nonchalant and cool way. I just have to show the pictures here, as I keep on thinking about them all the time...

I love the way this Chloe girl wears the Balmain top with the sharply defined shoulders...and pairs it with amazing Lanvin pants and Balenciaga shoes...

This is my dream outfit!

...the top is lovely from the back, too.

Here, she is wearing a Lanvin silk top and this pretty Balenciaga dress with little black dotts...

Chateau Chateau

Today, I made little trip to Chateau St. Gerlach, near Maastricht...

I'm wearing a twenty8twelve skirt by S.Miller, FCUK cardigan, Petit Bateau shirt & Drykorn coat.

Chauteau St. Gerlach is a luxirious hotel in Valkenburg near Maastricht. It's located in a nature reserve and consists of old monumental buildings. It has a really cute bistrot, called Bistrot de Liege, which offers weekly menues, small local dishes and delicious cakes. My personal favourite is the home-made Apfelstrudel!

I'm cute, I'm flirty, I'm pink...

So, what is hiding inside this lovely birthday gift, which I got this morning??

I think, I'm in love with you!! We're gonna have so much fun, dinner parties and long nights out...

Officially addicted...

I have a new addiction, next to SATC, the O.C. (excluding season 4) and gossip girl: MTV's the City! I was never a big fan of the Hills, but the story of Whitney moving from L.A to New York kind of caught me: she starts her job at Diane von F├╝rstenberg, gets acquainted to her new environment and falls in love with a player kind of guy - in short lots of drama, plus the girls' impeccable style.
The new episodes air Mondays at 10 pm and you can watch them here:

Whitney with her beau Jay

Olivia Palermo & Whitney's friend Erin

Apart from great outfits, the girls always style their hair in a really cute way with small, pulled back braids!

it's raining baby

It's one of those days, where it rains all the time. For me the perfect choice under these circumstances is to get out my Hunters, which keep me dry and still look really cool!
So, I just found out that Hunter is teaming up with Jimmy Choo to create the "most luxirious Wellington boot around."
I think it's a fun idea to mix the traditional, outdoor appeal of the Hunters with the sophisticated sexiness of Jimmy Choo. And voila the result: rubber with crocodile print, a gold buckle and some rivet details, pretty fancy, huh?

The boots are exclusively available at Bristish and American Jimmy Choo stores and via a waiting list on the brand's website from May onwards. So probabley next time in Glastonbury, we'll spot some celebrities wearing the new HunterChoos. As for me, I guess I will stick to my good old, simple Hunters to walk through the mud on days like these!

Isabel Marant SS09

I'm in love with this effortlessly chic collection - the boots are to die for!
