The major trend at this year's Oscar night seems to be about creamy white, strapless dresses. These ladies' choices are just fabulous:

Officially addicted...

I have a new addiction, next to SATC, the O.C. (excluding season 4) and gossip girl: MTV's the City! I was never a big fan of the Hills, but the story of Whitney moving from L.A to New York kind of caught me: she starts her job at Diane von Fürstenberg, gets acquainted to her new environment and falls in love with a player kind of guy - in short lots of drama, plus the girls' impeccable style.

Apart from great outfits, the girls always style their hair in a really cute way with small, pulled back braids!

and the winner is...

The Golden Globes just took place, after missing out last year due to the writers' strike. It's the first major red carpet event in the new year. The gowns were very glamorous, yet rather safe. These are my two favourite dresses; they are not particularly fierce, just really beautiful! Demi is wearing Dior (+ cute boyfriend) and Isla Fisher is wearing an asymmetric Carlos Miele gown:

I'm a bit disappointed by Cameron Diaz, as she is usually the most stunning on these events. Her Chanel dress is cute, but she can do better!
